Alpha is for anyone who’s curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.
Our next Alpha course starts on 15th January 2025 at 8pm in the Parish Hall.
Please see here for more details on how to book.

Pope Pius XII referred to the Brown Scapular as, “The Sign of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.” The Pope said the Scapular also marks us as one of Mary’s chosen children and becomes for us a, “Garment of Grace”.
The Group meets monthly to promote and pray the Divine Mercy Devotion as given to Sr. Faustina. Meetings are in the Church on the first Friday at 2pm.
Divine Mercy Chaplet and Stations of the Cross
Every Friday, throughout the year, between 3-4pm in Church, we come together to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the Stations of the Cross.
“Come and spend one hour with The Lord”, whenever you are able to join us. All are welcome.
Please join us every first Saturday of the month, in Church, for the Five First Saturday Devotion, as our Lady of Fatima requested. Starting at 10:30am with the Rosary, the Consecration Prayer and Reparation to Her Immaculate Heart, followed by Exposition and Confessions at 11am, we conclude with Mass at 12pm.
This is a rolling devotion on EVERY first Saturday of the month throughout the year. Everyone is welcome.
The Healing Service is on the last Sunday of each month at following 11am Mass.
This is followed with Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. We have our priests, prayer team and music ministry serving the Parish, praying with individuals for healing.
Jesus healed the sick and He instructs us…”they will lay their hands on the sick, who will recover” (Mark 16:17).
Everyone is welcome to all or part on live streaming.
Meets each Monday in the Parish Centre from 10.00am – 12noon The first half is spent in worship, spontaneous prayer and singing with members sharing experiences from their Christian living. Scripture passages are read followed by petition when prayer is said for the needs of the Church. The presence of the Holy Spirit is experienced through the love and affection shared by the members of the group.
An Ecumenical and Charismatic prayer group, we meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 8pm; the 1st Monday in Macclesfield and the 3rd Monday at St Gregory’s Presbytery, Bollington.
We meet to give praise and thanks to God and we pray to be filled anew with God’s Holy Spirit and to continue to grow in His Spirit – in order to serve Him in whatever way He leads us, individually or as a group – in our family, parish, diocese, community, workplace etc. We pray for the needs and renewal of our Parish, Church and our world as well as personal intentions. Prayers for healing are an important part of our meetings.
We are an ecumenical group and, although at times attendance by members of other denominations declines, the group remains ecumenical in spirit; as such we have been richly blessed by the Maranatha Community, of which many of the group are active members.
We meet in church every Wednesday, prior to the 7pm Mass, at 6:40pm to say a Parish Rosary together for peace in our world and the needs of our Parish as a whole. Everyone is welcome to join us.
Meets each Thursday evening at different venues to give praise and glory to God and prayers for the Parish, world peace, healing and an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The Rosary is prayed, spontaneous prayer, praise and thanksgiving, Scripture Readings, singing and prayers of petition.
