St Alban’s Parish will be holding one of our two annual Foodbank Collections at all Masses. We’re collecting donations to support the incredible work of the Silklife Foodbank, which provides vital assistance to individuals and families in need across our community.

About Silklife Foodbank

The Silklife Foodbank is powered by dedicated volunteers who tirelessly collect, sort, and distribute food to the homeless, individuals living alone, and families experiencing hardship. Each carefully prepared delivery provides a week’s supply of nourishing meals, often including recipe cards to help recipients make the most of their provisions.

How You Can Help

Your generosity makes a real difference! Please bring your donations to the church porch during any Mass this weekend.

Currently, the most needed items are:

• Tins: Meat, vegetables, macaroni cheese, rice pudding
• Bags: Rice
• Other: Tea bags, toilet rolls

All packaged food and toiletries are very welcome and will be gratefully received.

If you’re unable to donate this weekend, you can still support Silklife Foodbank throughout the year:

• Look for their collection boxes in local supermarkets.
• Drop off donations at Scoop and Scales.
• Make a monetary donation directly through their website (please visit their site for details).
