November Ramble

Distance and conditions:

7.8km (<5miles) option to extend to 9km if we still have is daylight and willing legs. Tracks, moorland paths and country lanes. Probably quite muddy in places. This route starts with a steady incline from Pym Chair to Shining Tor, much of which is paved.

N.B. There are “escape” routes for those who prefer a shorter walk.

As this is close to Remembrance Sunday, I propose to visit one, and possible two other WW2 aircraft crash sites along the route. They are easily accessible.

(Those at 09:30 Mass could arrange to share cars/offer lifts)
