Social activities for the members of our Parish...

A lively group of women of all ages who meet in the parish centre on alternate Wednesdays at 2pm (no meetings during August), for discussion, talks on items of mutual interest, slide shows, fund raising and to exchange experiences. Interests are both spiritual and social and include Days of Recollection, Pilgrimages and social outings. Tea and biscuits provided!

Wednesday 19th June, 2pm - Speaker Judy Popley on 'Gardens well worth a visit' in the Parish Centre. All welcome.

Caters for both men and women in the 50+ age group and meets alternate Mondays in the Parish Centre at 2pm. There is a wide range of activities, including talks, slide shows entertainment, quizzes, excursions etc.

Parents and Toddlers (0-5 year olds) meet every Tuesday afternoon from 1.15pm – 2.45pm in the Parish Centre. All mums, dads and grans etc. are welcome. There will be painting, playdough, creative fun and lots of toys to play with. There are no meetings during school holidays.

The Parish Social Committee facilitates social activities for parishoners of all ages, which reflect the wonderful range of ethnic groups, cultures and nationalities within our Parish. We host events such as International Evenings, Quiz Nights, Ceilidhs and a Summer Hog Roast. Some of the events are fundraising activities.

500 CLUB
This is a valuable source of income for the parish. For 1 a month, or an annual payment by cheque or standing order of 12 you are eligible to take part in the monthly draw (which normally is made on the first Tuesday of the month). First prize is 100, a second prize of 20, and two further prizes of 10 each. In December there is a draw for a luxury hamper! The renewal date is May/June each year, and a newsletter is issued with the renewal notice.

The purpose of this group is to foster parental interest in the school and to raise money for those activities which fall outside the school budget.

All parents are automatically members of this association and will receive regular communications from the Chair of the PTA and the Headteacher of the school.
